For an Everyday Clean
Use a clean, damp microfiber cloth, wringing the water out completely, to wipe down day to day messes. This will help your cabinetry look fresh and new if done on a regular basis. If any water beads form on the cabinetry, use a dry cloth to clear the surface of any water.
Wipe up any spills, oil, grease, or food residue as soon as possible.
For best results, wipe the cabinet fronts in the direction of the grain.
To clean the cabinet interiors, use a damp cloth with mild soap and then wipe dry.

For a Thorough Clean
To give your cabinetry a more thorough cleaning, and to maintain the natural, clear glow of your Grabill finish, we recommend the use of Murphy® Oil Soap at a 10/1 mixture (10 parts water, 1 part Murphy® Oil Soap). Combine this mixture in a spray bottle, spray a light mist onto a microfiber cloth, and wipe the surface with the cloth until dry.

For an Extra Deep Clean & Renewal
For cabinetry that needs a deep clean from heavy build-up such as dirt, oily films, and dried spills, we recommend using Guardsman® Deep Clean purifying wood cleaner. Guardsman® products contain natural oils which clean, restore and protect your wood cabinetry without wax or abrasives.
Before starting, test an area on the back of a door to make sure you like the end result of the Guardsman® product. This product may increase the overall sheen of your cabinetry. Once you feel confident with the results, begin polishing the front of the doors.
Shake the can well and spray the foam directly onto a microfiber cloth. Wipe the area until dry. Repeat the process as needed.
After your cabinetry looks fresh and new, follow up with Guardsman® Anytime Clean & Polish to regularly clean, shine, and protect the cabinet finish.
Guardsman® products are available for purchase at guardsman.com.

Cleaning High Gloss Cabinetry
For everyday cleaning, use a clean, soft microfiber cloth slightly dampened with a mild detergent. Carefully and gently wipe down the cabinet fronts. Never use any strong, abrasive cleaners or stiff paper towels on high gloss material as they will scratch the surface.
Do not use harsh cleaners that contain chemicals as they may have a negative effect on the surface.

Not Recommended for Use
Avoid any cloths or sponges that are abrasive. This can scratch the topcoat and change the sheen of the cabinetry.
When cleaning cabinetry containing glass, do not spray glass cleaner directly on the glass. Many glass cleaners use ammonia which may harm the cabinet finish. Wet the cloth with the glass cleaner and then gently wipe down the glass.
Do not use any harsh cleaners containing abrasive materials, harsh detergents, ammonia solutions, or waxes of any kind. Use of these types of cleaners may void the warranty.
Avoid leaving any damp items, such as dish rags, in contact with any wood surfaces.
Avoid excess heat, which may break down or discolor your finish.

Touching Up Minor Knicks and Scratches
You can repair minor nicks and scratches on most of our finishes using the touch up kit provided when your cabinets arrived. Contact your dealer if you need more touch up supplies or if the damage is too great to repair. Your Grabill dealer will be able to assist you in ordering any repairs or replacements.
All hinging and guide issues are handled directly through our supplier, Blum. Blum products are covered by a limited warranty.
Beautifully crafted leather products.
Either the end user or dealer will need to ship the damaged hardware back to Blum. They require the Blum name to be visible somewhere on the broken part as they only send replacements for original parts they can confirm Blum manufactured. In addition, they charge a $12 processing fee on all replacements. Blum will inspect the damage to parts shipped to them. They will replace the product at their discretion if it proves to be a manufacturing defect or failure.
You can access all the information you need for your replacement or warranty item on their webpage. Blum provides step-by-step instructions on how to begin the replacement process either via email or mail as well as providing access to their Customer Service team and their official warranty and replacement policies.

Strong Commitment to the Environment
The Grabill Cabinet Company is strongly committed to the environment and maintaining the quality of natural settings we influence. We will seek to preserve the ecosystems surrounding our facilities as well as the regions shaped by our suppliers. We will focus on the three core areas of Environmental Stewardship: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
A “Green” task force will meet regularly to review progress and evaluate new opportunities for environmental stewardship.
For more information, please download and read through our Corporate Social Responsibility Report.
Reducing Use
Grabill will evaluate ways to reduce materials used to conduct business and produce our products. We will pursue opportunities for transitioning to materials or products that use less virgin material in favor of recycled content.
Green Purchasing – Vendors will be evaluated on the recycled content of their products, sustainable practices, and impact of their processes on the ecosystems they influence.
Factory Processes – Production staff will examine ways to use offal material in our finished product as well as reuse materials where feasible in production.
Office Practices – Employees will strive to reduce their waste of supplies, taking advantage of electronic tools available for collaboration and communication. Where possible, customers will receive electronic communications instead of paper-based documents. Employees will share resources and tools when possible to reduce the number of new items purchased.
Energy Consumption – Facilities will be evaluated on an ongoing basis for opportunities to introduce new lighting, heating, and production equipment that use less energy or creates less waste. Employees will shut off machinery when not in use and shut down sections of our facility when not occupied.

Reusing Products
Production Materials – We will evaluate reusable fixtures, tools, and materials for our production processes. Where possible, purchase or make non-disposable items that may be used multiple times. Tools that have exhausted their life at the plant are offered to employees at no charge.
Office Supplies -We encourage employees to completely use supplies before recycling or discarding them.
Technology Warranties – Our Information Technology team will extend the life of our electronics and computer technology by utilizing extended warranties and replacement parts instead of replacement
Recycling Materials
Scrap Wood – Scrap wood will be ground to saw dust as bedding for local animal farmers or other non-disposal avenues.
Paper and Cardboard – Used paper and cardboard from our office and production facility will be gathered for recycling.
